Cool "facelift" well done, the angels eyes, the wheels etc
And engine from Rolls-RoyceCool "facelift" well done, the angels eyes, the wheels etc
Cool video, thanks for posting. The E38 had a fantastic interior that still looks good and more upmarket compared to some modern cars. Check the sumptuous soft leather seats and the thick soft padded leather stitching on the doors panels. The wood used on the center console and doors looks like a plate cut from a tree, the quality is superb. I still think the BMWs from E38, E39 and E46 era in the 90s had the best interiors of any BMWs even better than the new gen models. They looked timeless inside and had brilliant build quality with superbly comfortable seats. The word you are looking for is "Nostalgic"?

Good formula, it seems at first glance not to change the proportions and it is not noticeableThe differences are not noticeable but a novel way of stretching the car without making it a full limousine.
In reality it wasn't even a dream, it didn't even exist in anyone's imagination, I think. When Theatre Screens were an unobtainable dream.
It skips about 10 years to the G70/G70e.Interesting design video on the G11/G12 7-series pre LCI.
In those days, me too. I remember fondly of dreaming of a 750i. To me an unreachable non plus ultra automobile. Never forget seeing a dark blue one in Luxemburg. Love on first sightRemember the days when Europe wasn't plagued with Greta Thunberg, tyre extinguishers and the BMW 7-series was a good looking luxury sedan? Well, I'm not Mr. Pepperidge, but I remember when the 7-series was a fine looking machine.
With the risk of becoming persona-non-grata among the Mercedes fanbase, I would definitely would have an E32 over a W126.
However you view the new 735i, it looks like a very grown-up hunk. The XJ6, the Audi 5000, and the Mercedes-Benz 300Eand 420 and 560SELs also look substantial, but they pale when it comes to visual muscularity. BMW has advanced the smooth-and-athletic look to a new height. Since 1981, BMW's American sales have doubled. Last year, our growing hunger consumed 96,759 BMWs, more than a fifth of the world total of 446,000. The 1988 735i, on sale here since April, and an abundance of other new models should help pump Munich's U.S. sales to more than 100,000 this year.
Those were the 7er days. In it’s prime.
