M3/M4 E92 M3 discussion thread III

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

I didnt see the press release, was it like my description because if it was i need to get that mag and scan those pics on

EVERYONE IVE SEEN THE OFFICIAL M3, I COULD BE THE FIRST ONE TO HAVE SPOTTED THEM, I WENT TO A LOCAL SHOP THIS MORNING AND THEY HAVE OFFICIAL M3 PICTURES, EVO MAGAZINE I THINK BUT ITS NOT ON THE EVO WEBSITE YET.

In them pictures its the same colour as the bmw concept m5 a few years ago, bumper exactly the same as spy pics. the bonnet has two small vents on each side of the prominent hood bulge. The mirrors are the ones everyone didnt like but they do look nice and seems to have a carbon fibre or gloss black insert on the top of it.
The trademark side vents are there they are quite deep into the metal with a thick chrome strip running theough the vent with a small m3 sign.
And as we all wanted to know the license plate is on the runk with a small lip spoiler aboe and the bumper is similar to the e92 m sport kit but alot more aggresive with the two vents on each end covered up.
one last thing the alloys on the pics i seen were CSL wheels in a glossy finish,
I hope these pictures i seen are the real official m3 pics before the unveiling.
:D

Well the rims for the M5 Concept were more or less the same as production. I can see these rims being the standard ones.

I still think that this concept m3 has some stuff that is not going to make it into production...including the rims. But I could be wrong.

Shifter looks very funny. :all_coholIt's propably just a manual hence no paddles on the steering wheel...

From what I can tell, the first button by the gear leaver is a Power button. Any idea what the other one is?

Btw, Alcantara wheels? That was reserved for the M3 CSL last time. Very nice

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
