Definition of engine masterpiece

I wonder how the new BMW-F1 engine will work; and if the same engine will be available in the new M3-or at least a close relative of it?

Formula 1 engines are vastly different in their design from those in production road cars. One of the fundamental differences is that Formula 1 engines make use of short piston strokes in order to achieve very high rpm. The new V8's are slated to rev to 20 000 rpm. The engine in the E90 M3 will rev to less than half of that.

Not to mention that the M3's V8 will probably have a displacement of 1.6-2 more liters than the F1 engine.

And the new M3 will hopefully last for more than two races :D

Somethings can be experienced during the prossess of building the all new V8 F1 engine.Caracteristics can evolve-What if the new (M3)engines had some of it? Both beeing V8`s made at the Munchen factory(Wich is a fact).

And we all love Mario; dont we?

Maybe in this case he loves us back.I really want a screaming "Quasi-F1"under my Coupe hood (10000-12000revs would be sufficient)

....and Seb Bourdais behind the wheel of the 2nd BMWF101 :t-drive:
