A few more practical, everyday, affordable items from Simplehuman. Getting rid of the eyesore that cheap looking, multicolor, eye-catching, plastic and cardboard packages are (pasta, cereals, coffee, pet food, dish soap...) and replacing them with stainless steel canisters and dispensers.

Chrome/silver trim seems to be going out of fashion on cars but also in home design and industrial design in general, oftentimes replaced by gloss/matte black or white. For those who may want to switch some of their homeware from chrome/silver to black or white while maintaining the quality feel and durability of hard cold heavy steel (not flimsy plastic), prominent manufacturers are now offering black or white painted or powdercoated metal items, on top of the usual brushed/polished silver versions.
