Best current production car design is…

There is just something about Aston's design, it does not have the appeal of say a 997 or SL. IMO
I see SL's quite often as well and it has not lost it's appeal to me. I've seen the DB9 a few times and was completely underwelmed. I think the last AM that truely 'wowed' me was either the Vanquish or DB7.

SL is one of the best designs ever to come from Mercedes. It should had been on that list instead of CLS.

The aston is hot, no doubt but what int he world is the 5er doing on 6th place

? It's not a bad looking car but if we talk about beauty the A6 has the more appealing design.

How could anyone not like this

Well in my case its not that I don't like it, but it looks like a smaller copy of the DB9, it isn't original or as good looking as the original. Its a simulated version. Aston blew a chance to come up with something really different like the DB9 was when it first came out or even the Vanquish. The one size fits all doesn't work with a brand like Aston-Martin IMO.

I agree. I like the 5-Series too, but it doesn't belong on this list IMO. The 6-Series yes, but the 5 not!

3/5/6/ belong on the list

Those who dont like this car got some serious issues :D

Why on earth isn't the Citroen C6 on that list?

Any list that doesn't have that car is of no use to me. Especially one who puts a Veyron in there as well.

Simply the best-looking sedan currently.

u gotta be kidding me TS ,,, this car imo is simply the ugliest looking sedan ever ...
edit : the AM v8 vantage is a good-looking car but i think the db9 looks better in every angle, it would have been more correct the opposit way...

It's a beautiful design if you ask me - it's very characterful and is much more exciting than anything MB or BMW can throw up currently.

Just look at it! If you thought the 5 Series was radical, just lay your eyes on the C6. It's got it covered left, right and center. It's just so...exciting.

After seeing this picture I agree, it does deserve to be on the list. It's unfortunate that the car is French and more than likely FWD though.

When we make a worse production car design list a lot of French cars will be there including Renault Megane and Scenic, Citroen C2,C3 and C6 and Peugeot 1007, and 407.

Haha...no.

I love the design of French cars. From the yesteryears of Delages and Bugatti's (although that can be disputed) and the glorious designs from Peugeot and Citroen from the 50's and 60's to the current situation, with Citroen regaining their flair with the C4 and the C6 and Peugeot back to it's controversial, yet no less breathtaking 406 and 407 model range to Renault, with it's very outspoken designs, such as the gobsmacking Megane, they've got it covered.

Sure, they're not all too good to drive - but we're talking about design. And the French are on the ball in this department, and always have been.

Need we have to mention the disgustingly ugly cars that Germany have come up with? ;)

I agree completely. :usa7uh:

The first three choices are correct IMO, but the DB9 should be first not the Vantage. The DB9 is to me the best looking car in the world, period.

Second that!:usa7uh:

:t-cheers:

No need cause some of them are in that list...lol...:D

I wouldn't agree with that list, firstly the Veyron IMO isn't a well designed car at all! Also the Elise looks OK but nothing more!

The Vantage deserves it. The car looks brilliant in every RL photo of it that I have seen.
