Pictures Converting My B5 S4 To b5 RS4 Widebody

Hello everybody,

I bought this b5 s4 from a freind of mine about 6 or 7 months ago for a good deal and ive done some mods to it including rs4 wide body and stage 3 kit.

The reason why i bought this car is because ive always wanted to do my own project car, and the s4 w/rs4 widebody is on top of the list, im doing this as a personal and track car, unfortunately the b5 rs4 was never available in the states, but i was lucky enough to find rs4 body parts online for a great deal online @ audizine.

Here are the mods that ive done.

Built 2.7T with IE Rods

Stage 3 Brand new Borg warner K04 With 034 Inlets

EPL Fueling Kit

ER intercooler

Stage 3 Upgraded Clutch

Blistein PSS9

Tectonic tuning 2.5 Full exhaust with straight through 2.5 Catback

B7 RS4 Front Brakes

Upgraded Rs4 fuel pump

APR Bi pipe

Neuspeed sway bar

Stern motor mounts and snub mount

034 X1 CF intake

achtuning Oil Cooler

Carbon fiber Y pipe

Ive also gutted the interior and nothing else, ill be working on that after the exterior is done.

Here are some photos i took thru out the process enjoy.

i borrowed some 18" wheels from a friend because the 17" couldnt fit the brakes, i also changed the hood, its a carbon fiber peace i bought from someone, not the cleanest but they are very rare.

Just to personalise it abit more i went for wider rear fenders 1/2 an inch each side

Here are the wheels i chose to put on, they put them on b4 the paint part to see if they fit good. They are forgestar cf5's 18/10 and the tires are toyos r888 265/35r18

Heres the car after the paint, i chose the suzuka grey color because its simply one of my favorites.

All parts are latched not secured after paint, more photos to come next week when body is put together.

Thanx guys, the car should be done from the bodyshop this week, still they are finishing some small nick nacks.

Definitely removing those ugly tints. And wow those wheels look so small now

Those are not the wheels im using, if u scroll up to my first post, i have a picture of forgstar gunmetal wheels they are way wider, i will still need spacers.

I love that car, I would paint it cactus green, were it mine.

How's the 2.7? I hear a lot of rapping about it. They say the turbos go bad and what not...

But I'd love to have a 2.7 A4, A6 or A8.

The 2.7 is a lovely engine so much torque and so much room to tune, mine is a stage 3 with k04's. Ive also heard that those b5 s4's are not the most reliable, but their cheap and easy to maintain.

So here it is guys, just picked it up from the body shop, still its missing some emblems and side intake grills or mesh, and the rs4 grill, also i ordered eurocode headlights, ill post some more pictures tomorrow.

Nice work! How was the shake down. Were all systems good? Will you keep it looking neat like that or are you toying with the idea of putting decals on it?

Everything is working fine but the ac and sterio. Im not a big fan of emblems, its cool to have it look like a dtm race car, maybe ill put some audi or quatro emblems.
