A gorgeous car though. Probably the most old school classy look in this segment.

I think it's a rather fair list. After all, these cars are mostly probably driven by the owners themselves and not chauffeurs driving them. If it was a chauffeured limousine I would have placed the LS at least at second place.

Knowing Car and Driver, they thought it lacked the "sport feel", hence the last place.

I will say this, while the other vehicles are putting
us in the poorhouse the Lexus owners will be laughing
at us. None of these other company's can match Lexus
build quality.

Anyways as it comes no big suprise the Lexus is my personal choice, i'm a Lexus man. It's by far the least sporty vehicle here but i doesn't matter to me

After the LS, i'd probably go with the S550 and then the A8.

A8L - 215 points.
750Li - 200 points.

Going back to what Mirage77 said.. it was for chauffeur driven cars. I have no doubts the LS is a better car in that respect than at least the XJ!

750Li - 200 points.
Jag - 198 points.
LS460L - 193 points.

Very close victory for S class. A8 proves again to be a tough rival.

Kind of an odd result from an American company. The Lexus got last, when it probably has some of the best build quality and comfort, plus reliability and price....I wonder what happend.

750i must weigh less than S550, despite having a weaker engine its performance is on the same level as the S550 and in some cases its faster.
I also noticed that US havent the new upgraded engine yet on A8.
