Really really sweet looking. Though, I'm slightly saddened that it ended up not recieving the V8. That would have been a hell of a car.

BMW probably didn't give this car the new V8 since it would make it performance wise to comparable with the up coming M3.

You have to know that the both of the M3 V8 and M3 6L has been tested on the car.

Hey gang, this was new and interesting to me:

The most notable change is on the M-version’s hood: it uses a new production process where a robot with a special tool tip exerts a defined amount of force along the line to create unique peaks. This process is philosophically akin to rapid prototyping in that no rigid stamping tool or mould is involved, enabling BMW to create discrete solutions for small numbers of batch-produced vehicles such as the M cars.

The side profile of the Z4 Coupe reminds of the Z9 Gran Tourismo Concept, especially from when you look both cars from the rear 3/4 angle. Here's what I mean:

Either way.. the Z4 Coupe..and especiall the M Z4 Coupe are awesome in every way.

Remember when the last Mcoupe came out. Its started with the 240hp I6 that was in the E36 M3. It was only updated to the 333hp I6 when the E46 M3 came out. So we can expect the V8 to be in there when the E90 M3 debuts...(i would think)

Remember when the last Mcoupe came out. Its started with the 240hp I6 that was in the E36 M3. It was only updated to the 333hp I6 when the E46 M3 came out. So we can expect the V8 to be in there when the E90 M3 debuts...(i would think)

Slight correction... the "2nd revision" of the M Coupe/Roadster had a 315 hp output due to a more restrictive exhaust system.

But your point remains very valid... and hopefully it'll come true

The Z4 is not a very photogenic car and should only be looked at IRL. Can't wait to see this car at my local BMW dealer.

I've seen the Z4 M (Interlagos Blue) at the Zagreb Auto Show last Saturday.

The car looks amazing in person. Very aggressive & dynamic. Nice curves.
