At the german forum "motor-talk" was started a discussion with the headline-theme.
There are many SUV-drivers, which drove or driving a X5, in particular the E70-Generation.
After the new X5 was presented some of this drivers are disappointed of different reasons, so that have looked for alternatives.
One favorite is the Jeep Grand Cherokee. This model would afford more features for less money, same, in some parts, a better quality in material and haptic, more power (for example an 8-cylinder-engine to the price of an 6-cylinder-engine with the X5).
One forum-member posted, that in the US there no question which car would be the favorite: namely the X5.
This posting inspired me to open a thread here with this theme.
What is your opinion?
My first choice would be the F15. Why? Maybe it´s difficult to declare it with rational reasons. The X5, the E70, which I have, and the F15 are cars which generate emotions. And this I´m missing with the Jeep. The Jeep afford more power and features for less or the same money, no question. But this is not enough for me. I don´t say that the Jeep would be a bad car, because I don´t have any experience with this car. I can adjudicate only subjective.
