Official Thread BMW Vision Neue Klasse

Guys this is the Vision NK thread, not the 3er/i3 thread!

The same stuff is being posted in different threads now.

And an interesting "external dimensions" comparison with that W212 E-Class sedan.

The NA0 i3 is looking mighty promising IMHO.

They both have this angular greenhouse. Mercedes should really go back to that too instead for their pebble round designs of the last 15 years.

Not only the greenhouse that is so compelling on the NA0 i3.

The camofoil is now only a very thin film, showing the nuances of the flank surfacing. And IMHO, it looks amazing. So clean and so supportive of the wheelarch sheetmetal sculpturing, I trust that BMW designers have taken the same route as with the new ix3. That is: absolutely devoid of tacked-on, ornamental crap. I hope that Audi follows this example with their uncoming "Radical Next" vehicles as well. As for M-B: It may take a while before we see the results of new incoming chief designer Bastian Baudy's efforts. We may have to hold our breaths until the very end of this decade.
