Don't worry about buddy. I'm sure it'll take some time, and it's not even remotely important at all. I just got caught up in the coolness of your creations. Save your spare time for yourself! :wthumb2:

I might anyway. It takes me weeks to get the more intricate stuff done, but liveries like those are comparatively straight forward.

This is what I'm working on at the moment...

In addition to congratulating you for so many excellent jobs, I take the opportunity to consult you, If the basis of this is a 2 series, why the proportions are better in this? they look perfect here

Maybe you realize if they took some liberties? Is it the back shortest? the beautiful false black window has something to do with this illusion or the doors are longer? what do you think? thanks in advance and again great job.

Officially, the VGT isn't 2 series based. When the first sketches of it showed up in Gran Turismo 6, the 2-Series was still in testing and hadn't been released. The VGT and the 2-er ended up debuting at a similar time IIRC, but the connection between the two was never made official.

I believe the proportions look different only because the wheel arch diameter is a little bigger, and the car body is pushed down further giving a lower belt line when compared to the wheels, a lot like how a DTM looks compared to a road car. I think the tail/boot may also be stretched a little to incorporate the chunky rear wing.

Neither the 2-er or F87 are present in Gran Turismo Sport, so doing a side by side comparison isn't that easy.

Thank you very much for the clear explanation. (y)

It's a pity that can not be compared, hopefully some of the great lines of the VGT and its proportions, find room in the next 2 series
