I don't get it. Why does Toyota even bother with Lexus in Europe if they aren't going to adapt their cars to the European market? Doesn't make sense. No V6 diesels then what is the point? Toyota just have money to throw away I guess. Lexus can't be making Toyota any money in Europe.

Predictions for 2015 global sales

Audi 1.5 million

BMW 1.6 million

Mercedes 1.5 million

Daimler and Mercedes CEO Dieter Zetsche intends to boost sales in 2010. He has announced the goal of selling more than 1.5 million vehicles by 2015, precisely the goal that Audi is pursuing. Audi plans to increase its line-up from 34 to 42 models by then.

Based on calculations from forecast specialist CSM Worldwide, the two automakers will reach their sales goals in 2015. But rival BMW will be in first place with 1.6 million vehicles sold.
