i8 BMW may need to increase i8 production to cut waiting lists

BMW may have to increase production of its i8 plug-in hybrid sports car to meet high demand.

Waiting lists for the 120,000-euro coupe are up to 18 months, BMW sales and marketing chief, Ian Robertson, said.

I'm glad to read this, BMW has take a huge gamble here so it's nice to see it pay off. This may motivate MB and Audi to create something similar.
