M3/M4 BMW M3 with Competition Package (Reviews)

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
Not cheap to buy new, stupidly cheap to buy second hand!!

Only one Volkswagen is holding silly money at the moment and that's the Mk6 GTI. Mind you the 8 month plus waiting list might have something to do with it. ;)

Did you even bother to read the PM I posted here, I'll highlight in bold showing where I already knew about the GTS. Don't think that C&D are that clued up.

I would like to use a four letter word here to explain what you are but would incur an infraction, so I will refrain from doing so.

My point was not if you knew about GTS or not, but how you also make the same mistake of predicting that CP will be lighter like C&D when it turned out not to be. Another interesting thing, that article came out right before your post dated 27th oct. Here is some blog post on 26th referring to it.

Possible 2011 BMW M3 Competition Package - Spied

And yes, please resort to name calling when caught red handed lying. It can't get any worse.

Sunny,

You still don't get it do you. :t-crazy2:

That PM was a reply to comments I posted on the forum EARLIER, note the wording 'My info came from a competitor, yes it appears both keep a very close eye on the competition', so in fact I was still earlier than C&D who I might add didn't even know the existence of the two cars, thinking they were in fact just one, something I clearly acknowledged in my PM.

I will ask you just once to refrain from calling me a liar.

P.S.

The guy I was PMing know a heck of a lot more about BMWs than you will ever know and he is in no doubt that I am the real deal.

Ah yes, now it is earlier than C&D article. I am sure you knew about it even before BMW did.

According to this weeks Autocar which tests the Competition Pack M3, they are hoping to very soon compare the M3 with this package against the RS5, feeling that it's this M3 setup that will put up the best fight.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
