I'm not a big fan of Alpina design either. It looks aftermarket and chavvy. I would just get a standard 5 Series to be honest without the M pack. It looks reasonably good although already it looks dull on the road. Only the fantastic interior redeems the 5 series F10. It's a shame because I love the M Sport E60 and the E90. Maybe the F10 will look better in the metal.

Thanks, I stand corrected.Well the website is wrong. There is an official Alpina dealer about 20 km from my house
Edit; exactly Ree. There is a BMW AG owned dealer here that is official Alpina dealer as well.

Betty, you're jumping to conclusions with the M pack for the F10. I don't care, and you can think of it whatever you want of course, but I'd think it is a bit premature to say that the M pack on F10 will not look good; we haven't seen a single shot of it, anywhere.

Maybe the rest of the M Pack will look good, but the wheels are the most significant part of it, and we've seen two sets which IMO look terrible. But I agree, maybe when it's officially announced or I see them in the metal I will change my mind. If I do I will be sure to let you know.![]()
Car Advice Conclusion said:It might be a large wagon with a small displacement diesel engine, but BMW’s 520d Touring punches so far above its weight on so many levels that against its German competition, it represents a bargain.
