M8 BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupé

The BMW M8 is the high-performance version of the BMW 8 Series (G15) marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. Introduced in June 2019, the M8 was initially produced in the 2-door convertible (F91 model code) and 2-door coupe (F92 model code) body styles. A 4-door sedan (F93 model code, marketed as 'Gran Coupe') body style was added to the lineup in October 2019. The M8 is powered by the BMW S63 twin-turbocharged V8 engine shared with the BMW M5 (F90). Official website: BMW M
^ There's no great whites in the Mediterranean. :D

Wrong. Yesterday a great white has been caught off shore tunesia. And not for the first time!

Looks properly sinister. That's a good BMW.

One point of criticism. Well, more like a wish....

I wish the production version would have omitted that trim bit on the air breather that's aft of the front wheel. Keep it clean to emphasize the car's muscular lines. Plus, I think it's time to retire having an M badge on the side. An ///M8 badge on the rear and a small on the grille should suffice. Especially as this is a "Black Label" car in BMW's line-up, so I think a more restrained, understated approach would be more in line than going badges-galore.

My only wish is that they make the rear of the production car more... erm, lithe.

I think it would be more "restrained"
But then again they might need more downforce at the rear.
Excited to see Motegi Red, hopefully as it has Japanese influences it will be more of a proper bright red. Hopefully like the premature E31 M8?
It will be interesting to see old M8 versus new M8, especially when the E31 was pioneering some interesting elements that will be featured on the M8.

The concept has all the elements of the real production car BUT in a grossly exaggerated form! Just look closely at the spy-shots of the production M8 coupe prototypes and you can clearly see that certain elements on the concept e.g the front facia & rear deck will not make it to production in that exaggerated form...they are definitely toned down!

Maybe toned down because you're comparing the coupe to the sedan. The rear of the sedan concept is very ugly imo, probably the worst rear ever on a BMW. I really hope the final version will be like the production coupe rear.

Don't mistake an anomaly with natural habitat.

Great Whites roam the Mediterranean for 5.3 million year already :D
So yeah, it's fairly new for them because they are three times as old as a species ;)

What is wrong with you?
Your first response was "There is no great white ...", which is dead wrong. Then your second response is this. Again dead wrong. @klier told you already!
If you just would have googled it, you could have seen easily, that great whites do have regular habitat in the northern african region!
And why you are starting to tag any of my recent comments as either "old" or "disagree" now, seems to be your secret? Did I jump on your toes?

I just disagree with what you're saying that's all.. move along.

The Great White is THE SHARK of the Sea...:X3::LOL::ROFLMAO:

Basically I was just wondering, why all of a sudden I got 3 negative ratings from @Tarek at the same day for different threads. Ok, a "disagree" is not really negative, but the funny thing was, that I did get a disagree for a question I did ask and for posting the picture of the caught white shark. The "old" rating I did get for commenting a close up pic of the front brake of the G20, where I just stated something about its dimensions. To be honest: I haven't found any other comment about this in this forum, so did not really get, why it was rated as being "old". Maybe it is my fault, but I see this rating system as a feedback system. And since I somehow like the forum and often really get interessting info from it, I tend to take every feedback serious, to improve also my contribution. But then I somehow need to understand the feedback I get... but with Tareks feedback it really gets hard for me.
But if you @Tarek simply say "move on", then my only reaction could be, to ignore ratings from you, which I dont understand . It is a pitty. (n)

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
