Some old vibe sexy cold coolness, much more welcome than the joy snooze fest

Joy is a word I hate, but I did kind of like the JOY advert they did.. the proper one, it had the actual Lightning Seeds song.. and it might even have had Patrick Stewart doing the VO.. can't seem to find it on YouTube... but I like it because it threw some love to the enthusiasts and supporters of the brand and its older models.

Remember this one. It was the first indication of radical change. Spooked a lot of people at the time.

This one was also quite humorous and apt. Of course the storm was yet to hit. (badly dubbed in English)

Not surprising, BMW does make great quality cars despite the Internet saying otherwise. However I do also wonder about the dependability of these studies! ;)

Via the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ):

German car makers are fighting behind the scenes to become no 1 in developing electric cars, and they are making deals with suppliers to ensure the supply of materials for building electric cars and accus.
According to the Allgemeine Zeitung BMW is on the verge of making a hugely important deal that would set them apart from the competition to become the no 1 electric car maker in the future.

It's not disclosed where and what company (hopefully not Congo with child labour), but it's a 10 year deal that would give them guaranteed access to 100.000 tons of cobalt, the most important part of an accu next to lithium.
Maybe @Jimmy can do some more research on this.

Also highly interesting:

BMW is stopping it's mutual buy-in with Daimler AG. Because MB accused them of this cartel thing some months ago, and it looks like the Quandts didn't take that lightly.

Sorry, Klier-I have no further information with regard to the identity of the supplier. Apparently, the contract is ready for signing, upon which the identity will be disclosed.

The Quandts are ruthless. They even have a tank of Great White Sharks with Frickin lasers to deal with their adversaries.:D

Is it too soon to make a joke a joke about Quandts and battery production?
