Hot! BMW AG: What's Next

Latest news, trending discussions, reviews, and major updates
Thanks @domleo999, it was quite exciting to do even if they're not headline scoop photos, and to be honest, any of the thousands of people in the street could do the same. It really helps me put other spyshots out there in perspective too.

I got a really good look at the 6GT because there was one parked up next to the fence at the back of the FIZ, but to be honest, that photo shows all that is necessary. I will accept now that it is somewhat sportier looking than the 5GT, it's more of a scaled up 3GT to be honest.

Honestly I can't give a verdict on the 8-er, I didn't get closer than 200 yards.

The M5 sounded great, and the Cullinan is not as big as I had expected... the Phantom is huge.

Is this the new X3? If so than this is the most revealing spy pics of the car I've seen this far and am really disappointed.

@Matski thanks for the feast of beautiful spy pics. It's going to be a very busy year forward for BMW.

@Matski, nices spy shots. I thought you was in Munich for business, but not to take shots! Hahahaha

The company's paying, but it's too much of an opportunity to miss... ;) Spy photography is exciting, it's like hunting... Very different to taking photos at race meetings!

Exciting and very hard. Phantom is very, very huge, I remember when I saw it in a bend and I was frightened because I was driving very fast hahahaha.

7er LCI???
Well, today is a lovely day in Munich, so I thought I'd wonder on up to the FIZ again.. and Je---sus.... Do BMW pay drivers just to drive round the block in test cars, so people can take photo's of them? They are literally more frequent than the buses! I hadn't realised quite how big the area that BMW occupy there is, so I got of the U-bahn at Am hart and wandered down past BMW FIZ to Max-Diamand strasse, then wandered a long there... I then walked up the other side of the site to find the car park we keep seeing spyshots from, which I found. Sadly, there was nothing much of interest there, 6GT's, X3's, variants of G30's, variants of Mini Countyman's, LCI 2-ers. I then killed about an hour or so basically walking around the block a few times

... anyway, there's nothing new or ground breaking about any of that, I'm just stunned at how easy it was see them - I'd envisioned spy photographers sat around for hours in the rain in the hope of seeing a test car go past once - it certainly wasn't the case!

Matski, you are the most valuable member of the forum. Always fair and I agree with 100% of your entry. thank you participate in this forum. You are great.

No not yet. There are a lot of 7er and 5er prototype models left over testing equipment for Autonomous Technology as well as new and existing eDrive solutions and new engine developments.

4er with the first new frontlight design since the E36 (minus the E46 compact)? Say it aint so!! (please be true!)

The Vision Next 100 Concept showcased that idea and it is something that will eventually come to reality.

I think this is the result of the employment of a skoda octavia designer :)

There is actually planning for the new designer to illustrate his ideas in a potential BMW Concept.
If you can remember when the Z9 was Chris Bangle's vision for BMW and Adrian Van HooyDunk's rise to the top spot.

Why is the Wi-Fi terrible everywhere in München? Sorry to triple post but it's the only way I can connect..

Anyhow, the 8er in coupe and cabriolet guise, the X2, and I think that's an X7..? And another Z4 shot for good measure.
