Hey, it's a smart move.

I have yet to see an EQS anywhere here in EV country, but it seems so smart
Deliveries in Norway started in February. In the current month, 90 units have been delivered so far. It is sold in Europe for half the size of the S-class. In the US, 2100 units were sold in the first quarter. Don't be in a hurry.

The affluent, style-conscious, debonair customer will be lusting for the Taycan
Just a delusional sidenote: Last weekend a friend of mine visited me with his Taycan 4S. What a let down. Ok - for Porsche standards it was a poorly equipped base config. Typical consultant business car in black with grey interior. He mentioned a list price of 130k€ - didn't check if that makes sense. I just can tell you, that the interior looked so cheap. No full leather dashboard. Black high gloss parts cluttered with fingerprint. Grey leather felt cheap. Headunit/HMI was slow/clumsy. C'mon Porsche. You can do better. Seriously: My fully loaded 5 year old M4 looks more upmarket/noble than this specific Taycan. Imho, it shouldn't be possible, that such a Taycan leaves any Porsche plant!
By the way: I sat in a 992 GTS, which was miles ahead of the Taycan regarding interior style/value.

Sounds like he didn't spec it correctly.

I correct: "...a generously configured Taycan."

The few dealer showroom Taycans that I've been seated in were all more lavishly configured, hence their interiors were a very nice place to be for me. I don't believe that I've ever sat in a bone standard Taycan (is there even such a thing ?). Maybe I was so swooned by the instrument/screen panel (which I absolutely love on the Taycan), that I neglected to pay more attention on the rest of the interior.

Still...130K Euros for a car specified with a rudimentary interior...? Not very impressive value for money, I'll admit.

NEW BMW M8 render with split headlight unit, the design suits better the 8er than the 7er ,but we shall wait and see if BMW goes down this route or not.

Looking or remembering, no big coupe of the brand, say 60s CS or even earlier, 6 series, 8 series, has been evolutionary, but it could be the line that changes the most radically from generation to generation, that's why I estimate that the next one will be nothing similar to what we can imagine at this time.

I also believe that the news that there will be nothing to do with a recently renewed model through LCI, it would not be coherent, but rather something more shocking, at least I hope so
