And we haven't even seen a test mule of the W213 E-Class. The previous gen we were close to the FEP stage with the E-Class when we first saw the F10 mule.

OK, now that I´m at home and can see the pics in HD:

1. Proportions and design seem to be a very shy evolution of the F10, which not a bad thing per se.
2. The shoulder line seems to be less deep than the F10, in the same way the F15 one is less deep than the E70.
3. The shoulder line is a bit higher on the rear end than on the front end, following the direction of the F30.
4. The front lights are sharper than the F10, and meet the kidneys in a similar way than the F32.
5. Shutlines are gone.

Sky, I think this mule has a lot of F11 parts. They're probably testing lightweight materials and/or other technical stuff, and the body is not that important. I wouldn't draw conclusions based on this early bodyshell.

Low, wide, and fantastic proportions? Yeah, this is looking to be very promising. Funny thing is the current 5er doesn't feel aged at all.

Seeing as the next 7 Series interior is only going to be an "evolution", I'm not expecting big changes for the 5 Series.
