Look at 7 series facelift they changed the hole front headlights and grill is bigger at the bach they changed the light design + front and reat bumper.

As i know mercedes never did this they just doing a minor change with headlights same as Old s-class and new and old facelifted E-class

From the E-Class Facelift (which they actually call "the New Generation E-Class" even it's just a facelift :t-crazy2:) Press Release: "Some 2000 parts in the E-Class are new or further developments". I don't think those parts are only from the head lights...

Ok, back on topic, im not a fan of the face lift look in those pics.... the kidney grills seem awkward somehow:t-hands: . Tell you the truth, though i guess by market time its due for a face lift, i personally dont feel it neeeds one. The car still looks new eveytime you see it. Its so radically different from the prior model it simply still looks like a fresh car.

Those pics show absolutely no changes, the kidney grille is exactly the same as the current one...
What i expect to see are bigger and wider kidney grille and larger/longer headlights... as for the rear, for the sedan i think they'll put some lines to make the boot look less empty..
BMW facelifts changes the exterior quite a bit, while i guess MB changes what you can't see, because like the Eclass, they just didn't get it right at start, the recent Eclass facelift made it much more competitive..

It will be great if they will stick the N54 engine inside the bonnet as a new powerplant to go with the face lift. I think the 5 series(525 & 530) are the most under-powered BMWs. Upgrade in the power-plant is much required.

the latest 7er is the car the got the biggest facelift. if you check other cars from BMW then you notice its all small changes and not huge like on the latest 7er.

I disagree. The facelift for the E46 sedan and coupe was quite radical too.
And cars before that generation got pretty radical faceflifts too.

I like it

I am hoping that will be the case, BMW really needs to raise the power in the 5 series, and the 528i and 535i I believe will be the way to go.

Still any questions? :D

Don't you just love it when info like that is leaked out? Buyers in the U.S. are chomping at the bit for the 535i.

Changes are extremely subtle. Have always liked the E60, so glad there aren't any radical changes. Slightly disappointed there isn't a 535i. Looks like that engine will be reserved for the lower end of the model range for the time being.

according to the info above, a 535 is coming however it doesnt say if its going to be in the U.S.

Its odd Eni that they would have both a 535i and 540i seems kind of redundant?

The above info says that is coming to the U.S. exclusively it looks like. It says 535i (US). They're going to mirror the 3-Series, 528i and 535i.
