4 Series BMW 4-Series Coupe Concept

The BMW 4 Series is a range of compact executive cars manufactured by BMW since 2013. The 4 Series was created when BMW spun off the 2-door models (coupé and convertible) of the 3 Series into a separate series.
Official photos, looks great: http://www.worldcarfans.com/1121205...e-concept-revealed---46-high-res/highphotos#4

Now that's a really, really ugly front-end. :yuck: The interior on the other hand looks great.

Amazingly, my thoughts are the complete reverse of yours. I actually love the exterior, especially the front and the interior colours are killing it for me.

One great thing about this car is you won't be confusing it with a 3 series saloon as you would have before. Great work BMW, keep it up. (y)

Outstanding exterior! Looks like a baby 6 to these eyes. I am sure that the interior will look better with other colors and options.

Dare I say more attractive than the F12/F13 6 series ? Superb proportions devoid of the (almost) caricature-like elements seen on the 6 series (too much hood length and the exagerated side-sculpturing "wake"). The front wing vent is a bit of an eyesore, but otherewise...very,very nice. Can't wait for the 4-series GC...

Agreed. Photoshop masters, some comparison pics of the 4er Concept Coupe vs the 6er Concept Coupe please ?

The production car will look much better once they get rid of all those concept gimmicks. Anyone who was wishing for a different interior was just dreaming.

Best looking BMW ever.

PS: Where's klier to check if has pee his pants too?

I hope it has the dimensions of the previous six series. It would be a perfect mid size coupe, which fills the gap between a little bid too small 2 series coupe, and a giant F12/F13.

Looking it with my "production version" glasses, I can only think of one thing: I need to buy one.

Seriously, I was never a fan of the E92 and I am trying to find a way to buy an E46 in good condition. Now, I am questioning if there's actually a reason to buy an E46 when this just came out.

Stunning, absolutely great. BMW got it right.

Yet, if BMW screwed this up, then this would be the last day I am considered a BMW fan. GTs and X6s aside, some things are still sacred...

:)

So what is the consensus ? blown away or do you think we have pissed upon M3 Coupe enthusiasts?
Which is one comment I have read.

You are looking at a car which like all BMW concepts is around 90 % the production car , but you will be surprised how much is retained for production if only in a more realistic form.
So now it is known that we have taken the gamble and decided to call our car the 4er and thus have begun a new era.
This stylish new look will also be applied for a very sporty four dr Gran Coupe model which will bring the elegance and desirability to a lower segment.

The M4 now begins an exciting new era and an opportunity to create a new icon for the M brand.
The differences between the standard F30 and the F32 are highly evident I am told.
Behind the wheel I am also informed it drives as well as it looks.

For those who cannot make the NAIAS. The car will be shown at Geneva.
So far, the production car is expected to headline the Shanghai autoshow in May due to Chinese market reaction. Shanghai will also be the debut for the production Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse following a Genf preview concept.

The interesting aspect of now having seen the 4er aswell as the 6er as that you can see how the 2er will look from a more compact perspective.

If you like the 4er Coupe Concept then I hope you will like the BMW X4 Concept.

I believe that this doesn't have anything to do with design, rather than the fact that air isn't reaching the combustion chambers the way it used to do ;)

SCOTT, do you know if the upcoming BMWs are going to have this kind of door handle instead the current ones?

Its never easy to change a color to black or white and at the same time make it look real. This is the best I did.
WOWWWWW!!! Thank you so much for your generosity! God bless you my friend!
This is by now, IMO, the best BMW front end ever especially in Black like this! Even the beautiful 6er looks ordinary compared to this. Thank you so much!(y)
