If you guys remember that film of the 335 at the ring. Most people thought it was an M3 because for some reason the engine sounded similar to a V8 so its very likely that it was a 3 litre turbo they were testing.

True.

That Swedish spy movie at the Ring. I was told that was 335si.
See/hear this (it's 335si): >>http://www.automotorsport.se/tv/?m=56<<

I was also told that BMW M engineers were amazed by Aston Martin V8 Vantage sound, so they would reproduce / emulate that sound in the new V8 M3.

Here you can see / hear the AM V8: >>http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4189886640341479577&q=aston+martin<<

I dont like this part. Should be less visible IMO

Front design-wise it looks more like a 5er coupe that a 3er coupe, which is not a bad thing at all. I'm loving it and can't wait for the M3 coupe! :usa7uh:

3er coupe was designed to be a 4er - a model between 3er and 5er. Therefore similarities to 5er. When I saw the pic (of the front) in December that was my first thought: 5er coupe.

Guys, good point about the 5er similarities...

So far IMO the front looks fantastic... the rear still remains a mystery! I can't wait for the release!!!

I agree and I think its what alot of people will say...front amazing...rear not too sure...bring on the press pics!

Looks very fresh and banglalized. I like how smooth the lines are and I'm sure the car will sell a lot. BUT......just becasue it looks good it doesn't mean that it is flawless, the rear is bothering me big time. It seem to be a bit too long, the proportions aren't perfect.
