Keep in mind they didn't rev the E60 as much as they did with the others. It was quite pathetic, to be honest. If they did, it was game over to the rest.
After the V10, yes, I prefer a good I6 a million times over just about any V8.

There's an M6 (E63) which drives past the office on a regular basis. Very, very few engines sound better. The greatest shame about the S85 was that it pitched up a fraction too early - before a decent dual clutcher was available. The E60 will forever be blighted by its SMG III transmission which was out of keeping with a luxury saloon. Which is a bloody crying shame, actually.

Which in turn, gentlemen, reminds me of last time I met an E60 in regular traffic....I was keeping with it over a couple of avenues just to hear the noise (we where heading to the same side of town) When I finally catch up, I saw the driver...there it was, a gorgeous, dark straight hair, pale skinned, slim girl in her mids 30's driving the beast. What a sight, the car and the girl.
