Hot! Bentley News And Rumors

I disagree, what they need is a proper large displacement V8, like the 6.75l V8 in the Mulsanne but made for Euro 7, made for ultimate smooth torque and not shared with the VW group. Currently there is nothing that can compete with the Phantom.

The Maybach is basically a S-Class with “bling” and always looks outdated 2 weeks after its release due to all the screens and EDM interior lights.

The Flying Spur (as beautiful as it is) is a Panamera in drag and the Bentayga is the same but to a Cayenne/Q7.

No one is making a bespoke ultra luxury car like the Phantom and it’s a shame. Would love it if Bugatti under Mate actually made an updated version of that wonderful 16C Galibier concept with their new V16.

The W12 is smother than any V8.

A V12 would be even smoother, that’s why RR still uses this engine.

Out of the VW parts bin, the W12 would be the best engine.

I disagree regarding the Maybach, If you want to understand the Maybach you have to drive it.

Yes it looks very similar to the base model, but it’s a different animal.

The only problem of the flying spur is the transmission , they use a DCT instead of a torque converter automatic.

Otherwise it’s a gorgeous car which I’d always prefer to any of the RRs.

They made one mistake on the Continental GT/C, they reduced the wheelbase from 2.95m( Panamera) to 2.85m, as a result the rear seats are extremely cramped.

They obviously wanted to stay under 5m, which they would do even with the longer wheelbase.

Interesting. It's quite rare for acar do become smaller. Usually the lneght is increased with every generation.
