It just feels very technical to me, compared to the Rapide, that comes out as an emotional car.

This I can surely understand (though I absolutely love the tech applied tot he new Panamera)...That said, the Rapide feels quite antiquated to me, kind of anachronistic when you pip it against any competitor (i.e. the Panamera, 7-series, S-Class etc) in its class

It looks so non-expressive to me, so very "not special".

I have spent many times driving the old and the new QP and I absolutely love that car. There isn't another big sedan out there that will put a smile on your face in the twisties like the Maserati does. And people admire the design. When was the last time you got thumbs up from anyone between the ages of 8 and 80?

Problem is the Panamera. It's simply the best sedan period at the moment. I was close to picking the QP but the Panamera is the overall best at the moment. If it weren't for the Panamera I would have chosen the QP no doubt.

If looks was the only criteria the Rapide is the best looking (IRL) car currently on sale IMHO.
