Considering that it is mostly based on the G37, I doubt they really looked that the R-class or Porsche 996. Yes, they are similar, but I doubt they borrowed from it.

I chose the GLK- mostly based on exterior styling. I just wish MB would listen to all the trashy reviews of the C's plastic and create the GLK with less plastic.

Voted for the GLK, mainly because of it's exterior styling and because sadly the X3 is very old! But my favourite entry-level luxury SUV is the XC60

Yes...but this is no excuse...

MB's lower rent models now come with acres of plastic...I'd rather have them put more wood on the middle part of the console instead of the big chunk on the right side of the dash.

My W123 had next to no wood in it just a little tiny strip going all the way across the dash drowning in miles of plastic and vinyl. That car was 28 years old once we had to do away with it. People are forgetting where Mercedes came from...A utilitarian brand...I'd rather have a solid car than some froofroo interior any day of the week.

With that said the center vents need some redesigning.

That Q5 is nice. I love seeing it on the road. I would strongly consider that car if I were in the market right now.
