Thanks Just_me! Any acceleration data?:)

(My choice: GranSport) :usa7uh:

The Gransport is an old car, I can expect it losing to the Jag. It was never meant to be a comfortable car so no surprises there; consumption is also not a strong point of the 4.2 V8 (drinks like a V12, I know) but I'm pretty surprised it didn't trump the XKR in driving dynamics.

Yeah it is time for a new Maserati Coupe now. They tweaked that thing to death over the last million years.

This year Marcus, we'll be expecting a cracker of a car from Maserati... :usa7uh:

Really I guess they're going to wait until Frankfurt to show it?

Word on the street is that Maserati will debut the new Coupe in Geneve (March 8-18th 2007) and not in Paris (October 2007) as believed earlier. Here's a scoop I found at MaseratiLife:

according to wbaeumer on another forum - who seems well informed reading earlier posts - has seen the car but is not allowed to give details.... According to him (in several posts). "I saw official photos and was stunned by what I saw! A REAL great car! I was told that the car on those pics is over 90% developed. The new car refers to the beautiful A6GCS Pininfarina Coupe (not the A6GCS-barchetta!) from the 50ies. In particular the nose section around the grill will be an element of that car. But be sure that the new car will get a modern design and only details are refering to the old car. Everything else would be nonsens! Propably the negative welding of the front-grille will be one of that features the new car gets. Got the info today, that it will get front-mid-engine layout! This means it will get a loooong bonnet! So, look at the great 60ies/70ies Supercars..........".

Some talk about a 4,7 motor ( a classic Maserati displavement Indy, Bora, Mexico...) that thanks to higher redline (7.800-8.000? so NOT ferrari redline territory) and improvements would make close to 500Hp.....

Nice comparsion, thanks :usa7uh:

My personal choice? Well I've got be honest, not a big fan of either of these vehicles, but I'll take the Maserati.

"hyundai looking" > that's the perfect word for the Jag's looking!
:D:D:D
Thanks :usa7uh:

hehehe thanx. :D

seriously that XKR is looking like a combination of Hyundai coupe and Aston Martin,WTH is wrong with jag?....:t-banghea :t-banghea

on the other hand that maserati gransport still looking nice and sleek after all these years,ok maybe they need to upgrade it's interior and engine...but still it looks HOT with pure white color like in the pics especially!!!! :icondrool
