Vs Autozeitung: Gallardo Superleggera vs 997 GT3 RS


Sport Auto's recorded the 997 GT3RS with a kerbweight of 1424kg (including a 68kg driver, ceramic discs and a full tank of gas).

Without the driver. :D But the rest is OK.;)

Are you 100% sure about that? I was always under the impression (from numerous sources) the driver was included.

I can't remember the exact calculation, but the Zonda F's measured kerbweight (1371kg) minus a 68kg driver and a full tank of gas meant it's kerbweight was just 15+ kg over Pagani's claimed empty kerbweight of 1230kg for the Zonda F.

Yes, I'm sure. AMuS, Sport Auto and AutoBild did measuring without a driver. There was a story in Sport Auto about their measuring method a few years ago.

But It would make sense to measure the car without a driver..

With my new knowledge that means the Zonda F has a far greater weight discrepancy than I was aware of and hell, the Koenigsegg CCR weight discrpancy is even larger than it was before.

:eusa_thin thats makes no sense. 3000 lbs? 500 lbs lighter than the regular G? it HAS to be a typo.


BTW SportAuto tests weights without the driver.

they said the LP640 was 1805 kg = 3971 lbs

road and track weighed the Murcielago with and without a driver an it was 4115 lbs and 4020 lbs respectivly.
 
Ok, I just found a new number.

Auto-Quartett.de (no website though) has the Gallardo Superleggera listed with a kerbweight of 1497kg. That's much more believable - especially as regular Gallardo's weigh in around 1600kg :usa7uh:
 
there is another weight in autozeitung but I dont know what it means ( Zulässiges Gesamtweicht)

damn, that makes no sense either. the Gallardo SL should be 3300 lbs without a driver and ~3500 lbs with one.:t-hands:
 
Gallardo SuperLeggera weights about 100 kg less than a standard Gallardo,
and you can get all the info you want by visiting their homepage.

thats the dry weight.

how did autozeitung weigh the SL to 1365 kg?
 
Anyone else here feels that the gauges in the Superleggera could have been better executed? After the beautiful white/red/black gauges in the standard Gallardo I expected much more from the SL's. It looks cheap by comparison.
