What kind of more is there except for range and charging speed? EV is EV, it's all the same.

More car around the EV parts I guess. I really don't know.

Rimac doesn't have any unique technology compared to mainstream EV manufacturers. Insane speed was achieved many years ago by Tesla, new EV's are fast charging.

The next step is solid-state batteries, offering higher energy density, increased range and ultra fast charging speed in entry level models and of course prices similar to ICE cars.

I really wonder what new technologies they can put in this car, maybe very high efficiency/range while offering insane performance but Lucid Sapphire already achieved that.

1 megawatt charging

I don't think it can be separated into different contexts; it's one business. The romantic notion of a "only" technological showcase compatible with the idea that losing 1 billion euros doesn't exist in the current environment for Europeans. Or do you think Mercedes can afford more failures without Ola getting the boot? They're going to make the mistake, and it will have consequences.

This may help illustrate my point of view with this particular case in point: The W100 Mercedes-Benz 600. Researching it's history could prove very enlightening. It is, in part, relevant.

600km of range for a 1360PS EV is pretty good. Just shows you how time has reduced energy levels and made cars have longer ranges, I remember the times in the 70s and 80s the Lambo and Ferrari models were huge gas guzzlers. In this 1978 AMuS test comparison the Lamborghini Countach used 26.6 L/100km and with a 120L tank it still has a range of only 450km. The Ferrari BB 512 is even more of a gas guzzler at 27.5L/100km which means it could only have a 436km range on its 120L tank.

Countach was 120k? Holy moly lord take us back😂👌

911 Turbo 80k lol

Then again, the average salary in west Germany was 1500 DM back then.

Different times. Other problems.

Its a 1000 times better than those awful flux capacitor or other weird space ship sounds they pumping through speakers of other cars lately. Its not perfect but at least we have a V8 with burbles hahaha

Audiotactility "on demand" will find increasing significance in the development of BEVs. IMHO, an inevitability.

I find it super silly on every car that has it but yeah… If people want that then go for it.

Hey @leylandi another question : Did the GT Foor Doors ICE Is it being cancelled now that the GT4 EV is coming out!? A facelift with this new interior could be really cool.

Not been cancelled officially yet I don't think. I think they moved production to a different facility though?
Someone may need to fact check me on that.

The previous GT model was actually supposed to be discontinued earlier. However, production continued in Finland due to continued demand. So it has nothing to do with the new GT.
