There is a different of just 24 points, well the V221 is the more comfortable one and quite as fast around the handling course…
Couldn't they have tested the S600 in black or another dark colour?
Seriously, silver grey is a horrid colour; it makes even the most expensive and luxurious saloon look cheap and insignificant.

If you want a bit more sporty, go for the Panamera, if you want a bit more luxury, go for the Benz...
Fancy anything in between then grab the A8 or 7er.

BMW looks so depressing and pig-like
Have you seen the car IRL? the new 7er looks so hot its puts S-class to shame. The new 7er is very elegant, sleek with fine lines and those large kidney's gives the car character.

I agree.Here,where I live,there are plenty of S-Class and F01´s to look at..and 7 series looks much better IRL then Merc IMO.

Ok, but the Panamera is 'far' from a sedan. Panamera is some sort of new breed crossover, and not a proper luxury sedan.......so it doesn't count

The first time I saw one it actually took me a while to realize it was the new one. I was not moved in any way. In fact I thought it looked a bit boring.

Not everyone like the new 7-series just like not everyone like the S-class. Thats the beauty with cars, there are ones for everyone's taste. And I believe your favorite is Audi A8 .You didn't see the sleek new profile and stance? It's vastly different from the old one...

It actually just like a sedan on the inside and is very luxurious indeed. Space, headroom and luxury amenities match those inside the S-Class and 7-Series. It even has a swanky backseat comfort package like the other two. Plus, all three cars have pretty much the same dimensions. The only thing separating the Porsche from the two fellow Germans is the boot, but from a passenger point of view they are all indifferent. There is hardly any option the 7er and S-Class have that the Panny doesn't.
Therefore the 7er can no longer be referred to as sporty because it isn't due to the arrival of a new addition to the segment.
