Definitely S for me here
The 7 is three years newer![]()
Me tooo. The S-class does not look aged and actually looks lithe and athletic next to that barge.

Both cars are SWB!
Check all the pics ... Eg. this one doesn't lie:

I've told you F01 was very formidable & oozing huge presence ...

Tarek said:So BMW went down that road again which is making the 7er longer to look bigger and have more presence, what's formidable about that?![]()
Length:
S-class W221 SWB: 5,079mm
7-series F01 SWB: 5,072mm
So, 7-series is actually shorter than S-class.
Yet it looks much muscular & having quite greater presence. That's formidable.
How come? Same height, yet 3cm wider & featuring almost 4cm longer wheelbase - due shorter overhangs.
Almost perfect proportions make it formidable. A work of art.
You have to see the car IRL.
LOL @ work of art.
The 7's nose really does look like the snout of a a certain filthy farm animal.
That Individual interior is to die for....siiiiickany more available already? I don't see those ceramic buttons anywhere??? Scott?
Unique: controls and switches made of high-tech ceramics.
BMW is the first car maker in the world to use high-tech ceramics as a particu-larly sophisticated material for selected control units. Replacing the galvanised metal otherwise used on such components, this special ceramics material is available as an option on the iDrive Controller, the electronic gear selection lever, as well as the rotary knob on the automatic air conditioning and audio system.
This special material so far used only on particularly exclusive mobile phones or other high-tech appliances, is not only particularly strong and massive, but also conspicuously cool and, at the same time, pleasant to feel and touch.
Real nice, a SWB S-Class photographed next to a LWB 7-Series.

Lol, both cars are clearly SWB.
