I'm still trying to decide between these three vehicles. Honestly, I'm not overly enthusiastic about any of the cars here, but I'm extremely tempted to choose the BM. Mainly because it's RWD, but on the otherhand, the A3 offers an exterior and interior design which I prefer over the 1er.
Can't decide![]()
I was just having supper with a Golf GT owner just now. He loves it, 7L/100km and yet it gives you the punch whenever you need it. The surge of power in the lower and mid rpms is just amazing, close to a GTI even, but it loses puff later in the rev range. But still... 7L/100km...
Why think further?![]()
Becuase its ugly
very common
and the interior looks cheap.

Nope!
True.
In the GT - absolutely no! Ever sat in one? Or even Sportline? You'd be surprised.
Every of these cars is good for what you pay.

Catastrophically bland, but not really offensive to the eye and the GTI looks superb in white IMO.
Err... It's a VOLKSWAGEN GOLF. What do you expect???
It just looks...

okey okey, I was a little bit harsh when I said ugly, let my repeat, its not but not my favorite little car.
Im not expecting anything but still the car is common, almost as many as Saabs in Sweden![]()
Well I don't doubt the Golf is certainly the 'bargain' in this respective category, but I feel it's missing something (although I'm not sure of exactly what).
Overall (exterior and interior wise) I'd say the A3 appeals to me the most, but If I did purchase an A3 I would feel shortchanged as I know the Golf offers more for less money.
Ok, I'll take the Golf...![]()
James, your friend says 7L/100km... Open road, city drive? My wife's 2.0TDI drinks 7,4L city drive...
