i really do think the Audi interior looks more classy but the layout is a bit obsolete...
i also sat in a F30 the other day, i really can't say i love it, it feels busy, it feels cramped, it's not relaxing at all... not sure if it was the atmosphere that made me felt that way but the interior feels so cramped from the cockpit area. The big chunks of trim, especially the bit on the passenger side that is cut in about half by the piece of curving plastic, makes it feel just so narrow. and then the steering wheel is very thick, the center compartment (where the handbrake/gear lever is) is very high up and wide, it's perfectly OK with the 5series because it's big enough, but in a 3, it makes things feel cramped. And in general, the interior looks pretty playful. I'm not sure but this isn't the perfect 3 series interior imo, not sure if any of you have similar feelings.

Agreed, not everyone can afford the top models and in any case there is usually a noticeable difference in how the top models drive compared to the lower ones.

Almost nobody can afford even a normal 3er even, so I don't see your point.

I too want to see a test between the S4 and 335i, but only because I want to see a regular Bimmer trash ans Audi S model. That's always fun right?
Next time, the S6 being humiliated by a BMW diesel. With 6 cylinder.

These aren't football teams were are talking about. Either you have a vested interest in BMW winning every conceivable comparison test or you are a complete and utter BMW nut job.

Anyhow I'm sure even the RS4 wouldn't stand a chance against the 335i and the R8 will be humiliated by the M550dx never mind the S6.

Actually the chances are the M550dx will win against the S6 because in the UK press they are already rating it a better car than the M5 and I wouldn't be as bold as to say the S6 is better than the M5 now would I.

I want to see the 335i vs S4 comparison too but I wouldn't read too much into a F30 RWD 245hp 3er being better judged better than a FWD 211hp B8 A4. The F30 335i is still running with the same output that saw the E90 lose in 9 straight comparisons to the B8 S4. The F30 335i with 306hp and no LSD may be a slight improvement over the E90 but it is hasn't lost enough weight (if any?) or had significant enough changes to its setup to suddenly "trash" the S4, ... If BMW offered a 340hp 335is with a LSD for the same price as the S4 (with sport diff) then you (and I) might have something to get excited about.
