The IMHO more compelling 2010 Quattro Concept apparently came within a hairs' breadth of limited series production. Alas, Audi/VAG directors could not dismiss the financial reservations that were articulated by corporate bean-counters. A production version would have cost potential customers well in excess of 100K Euros (in 2010 money).

It’s such a pity they didn’t produce this car. It would have been a great alternative and bigger brother to the TT
