For me, it's the Z4 Coupe Concept.
The Audi Shooting-Brake looks quite nice actually...if you're standing from the rear-3/4 view. I really like the side profile and the rear-end especially, ..but it's the front which really makes me say "ohh darn it, this car was looking so good till I had to see the front!".
As stated by others, the front is pretty much Ford Focus lights,..in other words it's rather unimaginative, especially considering this is a concept car.
The front grille with the vertical bars reminds me of Hannibal Lector's face-mask, so that's a definate thumbs down in my books.
Other than those 2 aspects, the rest of the car is quite nice indeed,..even the interior is well done.
The Z4 Coupe Concept on the other hand has no real flaws in terms of design (in my eyes that is).
The Z4 itself is a car I very much like, ...so much so that I had a difficult time deciding which was my favourite looking new BMW (until the M5 came out ofcourse). So yes, it's safe to assume that I really like the Z4's looks, ....except for one aspect, that being the rear end, .... and that's where the Z4 Coupe' Concept scores bonus points over the regular Z4.
The regular Z4's rear lights were a bit toy-ish/cartoon-ish in their looks, especially with the round white section inside the red light which highly contrasted with the sharp lines of the rest of the car. Same thing with the bootlid, which had that curvy shape. I always hoped that it would have a strong rear end, with a solid horizontal bootlid much like the 7er and 6er, ..but it ended up being curvy. The Z4 Coupe' Concept fixes that issue for me very well by having the true BMW butt.
Since we are comparing these 2 concepts, the BMW also wins in terms of the interior, ...mainly due to the fact that extra attention has been paid to it because the car is a concept.
...and finally, the wheel design of the Z4 Coupe' Concept. After seeing the first pictures of the car just as it was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motorshow, the wheels instantly caught my attention, ...and my reaction was "OMG, .... they've been possessed by the devil!!"....it even has the trident look to it.
So to sum up all this mumbo-jumbo, ... Z4 Coupe' Concept gets my vote, firstly due to the fact that it improves of my design dislikes on the regular Z4,..and secondly due to Audi's poor execution of the front-end of the TT Shooting-Brake.
(Disclaimer: All statements made in this post are purely IMO!!)

The Z4 needs a facelift like the 7er.
