Oh is it really?
At this pic A6 side lines looks too dated to A5 side line
Oh is it really?
omg i love this car so much ... sadly it didnt go to production.
^the nuvolari concept looks nothing like the TT, and it still looks 1000X better then the new fat pig.
YES R/B i love the nuvolari concept. i was completely dissapointed when i saw the official pictures of the A5 , i expected more of the car , after the f/l A4, A8, A6 , and R8 they come up with that ? audi could of done allot better .![]()
Come on now MoSs you honestly like the side profile of the Nuv..? It's kinda bland don't ya think? Their's only one aspect I liked about it which is the bulky looking front end. But doesn't it look a little Bentley CGT-ish? I don't know but I do respect your opinion. Sorry your disapointed! But you won't be as disapointed as BMW chief finance officer will be.![]()

Fair enough, I respectfully disagree with you.![]()
No, no, no, what would happen when the RS5 comes out? They would have LED head lamps and fog strips. I think they played it right, give it some time, I think you'll grow fond of it!![]()
Headlights....speaking of which, I think they could have done far more w/ the shape. You have a very good looking, curvaceous silhouette, but soon as you get round to the headlamps it looks as if some inspiration was lost. Looking into the eyes of the headlamps (actual light cluster) the cars inner beauty shines through in attention to detail, which might always be Audi's redeeming grace in place of any design flaw.
There are technical pics a couple of pages earlier in this thread - I'm just too lazy to go and get them.
One thing is for certain, the mechanical layout continues the Torsen-based quattro configuration. There's no way that the engine can be placed over or behind the front wheels without resorting to an asymmetrical layout a la xDrive.
This is a bit offtopic but why is Audi sticking with their Torsen based Quattro system instead of using the electromagnetic clutch type used in the Porsche 997 turbo.
That's a very good question. From what i have heard they stick with Torsen cause mechanical differentials are superior to electronic ones according to Audi engineers.
The engine in the A5 will be moved 12 inches to the rear in the engine bay compared to B7 A4 since the differential and gearboxes are more compact than before.
