It looks absolutely marvelous.

Why are you guys so excited about this particular render? The front looks so much like a DB12 / new vantage. Just curious b/c to me personally its a let down only because the design team / execs from AM said the V12 flagship (aka the new Vanquish) will look radically different than the other two models lol

I suspect that a brand such as Aston Martin wants its cars to present a relatively high degree of familiarity and thus promote a more evolutionary design paradigm as well as a strong visual connection between its various model lines. Personally, I think that this is a positive attribute. The flamboyancy of Ferrari or Lamborghini would simply not befit the A-M brand IMHO.

A lot of people would be quite pissed if that's the actual front. The back looks sick, very different but the front literally looks like a DB12/ New Vantage. Aston said the car is supposed to 'look radical' A completely identical front isn't radical at all LOL

Is this render close to the real thing?

Disappointing following the carscoops and motor1 renderings IMHO. There is simply far too much going on regarding elements of the renderings exterior design. Less is far more.

So pretty much a DB12 with a power increase and a rear end change. This isn't what they made the car out to be b/c they kept emphasizing the V12 car flagship (the car we're talking about in this thread) to be completely RADICAL in design language. LOL. Kind of a let down. Silver lining is the rear of the Valour is gorgeous.

With options this cars might approach €500,000 which is silly for a grantourer with a ubiquitos(although modified) AMG V8.
