X3/X4 [Article] The BMW X3 LCI

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.
Hmmm. Pre facelift M pack looked better imo.
Don't like the new bumpers. But I hope it's just the angle making it awkward...

^ it's been a tradmark ever since the very first x5. Not some trend.

And the facelift is stunning. X5 doesn' need to exist anymore for me, this is far better looking and probably driving...

Well they have previously done a much better job of blending them in because to my eyes they're now an eyesore and I'm drawn to them first!

Horses for courses, to me this is worse, then again I don't like the new C class that everyone raves about and I own an F20 1 series! ;)

The designers responsible after seeing the new car photos :

"Wait, weren't you supposed to do the rear?"

"I thought you were."

Great job! Made easy to compare old vs new LCI. Nice! Thanks!(y)

@klier what a HUGE difference in perceived quality the new airco/radio unit makes! Nice touch indeed(y) But what you fuzzing about the new pack huh!? Looks great!

Not to be fuzzy, but just goes to show IMO how much work had to be done to the X3 (kudos BMW) for really it was my least favourite design in and out from their lineup. Great car it has always been for what it is. But the pre-FL was just blah. Now however we have a true Premium looker:cool:(y):)

The holes are a bit big perhaps. Little busy with the fogs still there. I don't know, need to see more...

The X4 concept has big holes but no foglights. That looks a lot better!

What they have addressed is the failings the car had against the competition, namely it's nose which was the least pretty of it's rivals and most elements of it's interior which were substandard for the class and price.

Now all they need to add is an M-Performance version.

P.S.
I actually prefer the new M/Sport treatment on the front, it's more rounded and less aftermarket than before.

Hmm yeah the M pack looks a lot better in the other pics. Can't wait to see more!

The car looks much better than X5 imo

Why is this thread called "the all new X3"? Looks like the same old chassis, engines, transmission, body panels, etc to me. "BMW X3 F25 LCI" would be a lot more accurate.

That said, the few new bits do look good.

I love it! Front looks so mean, would love to see a Dakar version of this :)

Here's a better pic of the M sport package, I like both!

Truly love Bimmers current line up, would still like to see some models with the kidneys and head lights separated though, instead of all models getting them molded together.
