AMS: mid-sized sedans supertest

It's not strange that 3 series won although Passat surely gives E90 a run for the money. I 'm also surprised to see C class on the second place since it's usually behind A4.

I think I have found a new lust object.

Wow man first time in life i found the 3ers interior attractive.. its amazing how much color combos can do for a interior.. super nice..

PS
It would be even more perfect with black piano wood:D

I like the 159 but it has too major disadvantages:
1-It's an Alfa Romeo whatever that means for reliability and quality
2-The capabilities of the car are far inferior to the car's design. The reviews are very bad from many magazines like AM&S.

God, where is the S60? why do car people forget the S60, but remember to test the 9-3? BTW, good for BMW to win that supertest

The S60 is a good car but doesn't bring anything special to the table. Even if it was in the test it would have got beaten. It is not as sporty as the 3er and A4, the S60 is more of a comfortable long distance cruiser.

Don't mess with BMW diesels... that is definitely the best "bottom of the line" BMW you can get. It's absolutely brilliant. One tank of diesel = 1000km. :eek2:

Too bad they didn't have any upgrade for the rims. those 16' are cheap.

if S60 is not sporty then what is Avensis ??? :t-banghea :t-crazy2:

also what about Mondeo, and 407 and Vectra?

Don't you like it? ;)
*trying to find a good photo if it*

I don't have a problem with it. My friend has one and we ride in it everyday and I have driven it myself but it simply doesn't suit me. The suspension is too soft, the pedals feel too numb and lack feedback and worst of all is the streering which is far from precis. I'm not saying that it's a bad car but it simply doesn't suit me.

Im not suprised the BMW won...its my favorite car in its class.im kinda dissappointed with the B7 A4 but i like the S4 and RS 4.

The 159 looks good from the front, and also the interior - but the rear looks a bit odd and weak for my liking.

As for the Jetta, well, I don't think you can translate the result of a different test with different criteria on to this one. It could do competently, but I highly doubt first place.

And where does it say that the Honda Accord is unstable?

Well, what's to say:
BMW leads the way, others just follow the propelar, whitch has has nothing to prove, cause it's progress trough technology. So in conclusion follow your own propelar, 3er.
LMAO :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-rot: :t-roses: :t-roses: :t-roses: :t-roses: :t-roses:

Yeah I don't doubt that but look at the thing. I think if I had money like that I'd have my Mercedes/Audi for business and something a little more "special" like an Alfa. The car can't be but so bad or can it?

Dude, I don't know.
Once upon of time Alfa was like Ferrari/Porsche today. The way it falled from grace was incredible.

When you say their fall from grace are you talking about their status/prestige compared to Ferrari/Porsche or their quality/reliability? I suspect you meant their position on the automotive totem pole. Yes it was a more legendary brand way back when compared to now.

Still though there is something suductive about Alfas (Italian cars in general) that German cars have rarely (if ever) been able to duplicate.

I'll say one thing being here in the U.S. our choices are so limited because in Europe you have the greatest collection of diverse carmakers possible. British, German, French (an aquired tatste), and Italian. You guys are lucky.
