Hot! New Cars to be launched in 2022 from AMS

AMS has shown in one of their latest issues a calendar of the expected launch dates for new cars coming out in 2022.

From what can be seen about the German car brands it looks like Audi and VW will have a low-key year with not many new model launches but BMW and Mercedes Benz are having a new model/facelift bonanza for 2022.

Very much is "up in the air" with regard to German-based manufacturers. At VAG specifically, one factor is a possible reshuffling of managment and its' ramifications regarding future strategies. In general, the re-emerging verocity of COVID19, the dearth of available semiconductors, consumer as well as industry insecurities regarding the incoming new German government and its' effect on their pocketbooks/bottom lines, an expected significant erosion of the relationship with China, among other factors, are leaving all involved treading very carefully.
