Couple of very interesting things from the article.

* When the two cars stand next to eachother, the A5 is the car that gets most attention. Many stop and asks about the car.
* Audi beats BMW in their own segment - the handling. The BMW is the less sportier of the two.
* Both engines are great, but Audis V6 diesiel and the Quattro system works so perfect together.

Conclusion:
Audi A5 is the new king in town. It beats the 330xd Coupé in pretty much everything.

P.S. I will scan the article for you!

Also the A5 is using manual gearbox and the bimmer is using automatic. for driving fun ,bimmer shall be RWD and not AWD and certainly not with automatic. I agree with AMS altough I havent driven the A5 :)

Haha, if that is an explanation to you why the bimmer looses, then it's pretty funny :D
P.S. J/k

No explantion at all, just notifying about the cars being tested :usa7uh:

PS Same carmag has also tested a AWD 3-series against new Lexus IS250 and their conclusion was that the Lexus was more fun too.

I'm not surprised with the results, I honestly don't believe Audi would of produced the A/S/RS5 unless they had the formula to take out the 330x/335i/M3! Most the reviews I've read gave the victory to BMW because they felt price gap wasn't justifiable.:t-hands:

A few questions, did the 3er have the M pack with sports suspension, and did it have active steering?

Wonder who would have won if it had been the 335d instead of the 330d!:eusa_thin :D

I agree with Just_me, if it aint a RWD than they didn't test it against a real 3 series. The chassis in the 3 isn't made for X-drive, that's going to come starting from the X6. This in my eyes is them testing a A5 against a crippled 3 series.

I love it! So the review didn't turn out as you planned huh? So lets talk a bunch of crap about how the 330xd was tested with wooden wheels and a busted transmission! I'm sure if the review said the 330xd pissed on the A5 3.0TDI you dudes would be like :ylsuper:

Well said, BMW fans although very patriotic about there cars , sometimes have a way of being bad loosers!!! Face it, Audi have finally come up with a better formula ... No harm done, BMW is still a great car - Audi is just BETTER!!

haha, funny how this review turns out to favour the A5 and in a split second it's the king, when in the past initial reviews of the A5 have questionned it's handling and sportiness, saying it didn't really know what it was and those are totally forgotten. Take a big fat look in the mirror guys.

What review was that? I've read reviews where the S5 has lost to the 335i due to unjustifiable cost, but that's about it! From all accounts the A5 is far superior to the 3-Series.:usa7uh:

Yes but those were all S5 vs 335 comparisons were the S5 loses only due to its extra cost :D

The two cars are very close. A change in the engine , suspension configuration (sport , s-Line , M pack ect.) , and the gearbox (manual , auto ect.) and transmision (fwd, rwd, awd) can make the difference in the result of the comparison.

In other words my guess is that manual wins over auto , RWD over FWD and quattro over xDrive.:D
