Yes some of the decisions have been made.
Interesting when you point out the breakdown for individual sales in the USA one thing is apparent across all three and is the typical expected response from the US Market. The SUV is king.
All SUV sales are higher than standard models. Therefore there will be more,a lot more.

Munich. March 2016 saw the BMW Group sell more vehicles than in any other single month in the company’s 100 year history. A total of 201,352 BMWs were handed over to customers in March, an increase of 2.9% on the very high sales of the same month last year. Following the second highest annual sales record in the brand’s 112-year history in 2015, during the first quarter of 2016 Rolls-Royce Motor Cars focused on the substantial preparations for the start of production of the new Dawn Drophead Coupé. BMW is building sports cars! The only thing close to a sports car is the Z4 which is a bit of a turd, and it's not that sporty.

AUDI AG: Strongest starting quarter with over 450,000 deliveries

Double record for the brand with the four rings: Audi concluded the best first quarter in the company’s history along with the most successful sales month. In March, Audi increased global sales by 4.6 percent to a monthly high of around 186,100. That brings cumulative deliveries since January to around 455,750 cars, 4 percent more than in the same quarter last year. Growth during the first three months was mainly driven by strong demand in Europe and America. Audi has also seen increases in China since the beginning of the year.

“The record start to 2016 is evidence of our global brand strength and of the success of our entire range of models, most notably the new Audi A4 and the new Q7,” says Dietmar Voggenreiter, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at AUDI AG. “The strong demand in the first quarter confirms that we are on the right track to achieving another sales record for the full year in 2016.”

Worldwide deliveries of the Audi A4 increased by 14.6 percent in March. In the United States, where the latest generation of the model has only been available in recent weeks, sales of the A4 increased by 36.3 percent during the month. Since the beginning of the year, global demand for the top‑selling model with the four rings has climbed by 4 percent. The performance of the Ingolstadt‑based carmaker was further strengthened by the new Audi Q7, as well. The full‑size SUV has achieved double‑digit growth each month since it was launched in the summer of 2015. Audi delivered around 9,600 Q7 to customers around the world in March, up 93.1 percent. Since January, its global deliveries have grown by 89 percent to around 23,550 units. In the same period, the company even tripled sales of the Q7 model in Europe (+177.6% to around 10,450 units).

Across all models, Audi’s quarterly sales in Europe increased by 7.3 percent to around 222,350 units. The interest of European customers also remained high in March, surpassing the previous month by 7.3 percent to around 97,300 units. This was fueled primarily by double‑digit growth rates from Germany (+10.8% to 30,923 units), Italy (+28.7% to 5,814 units) and Spain (+14.4% to 5,137 units).

Audi also posted further gains in the Americas in the first quarter. With around 57,500 deliveries in the region, the company registered 5.6 percent more than in the same period last year. Sales increased by 8.5 percent to 24,350 units in March. During the month Audi sold 2,805 units in Canada alone, corresponding to an increase of 42.9 percent. In theUnited States, 18,39 customers chose an Audi, 7.5 percent more than a year ago. Business in the market was strengthened in particular by the Audi Q3. Audi of America reported 1,505 deliveries of the compact SUV, 18.7 percent more than in March last year.

Following a year of consolidation in 2015, Audi is once again on track for growth in China. Cumulative sales in the market were up by 4.7 percent to 139,540 units. Last month 50,986 cars were sold to customers in China, an increase of 5.4 percent. Audi saw gains in the compact class in particular: Market demand for the Audi A3 increased by 34.7 percent in March.

Would be interesting to see A4 sales broken down by market. It's Australian launch seems to have been very disappointing.

I've just got an info on internal BMW Sales dept. initial worldwide sales projections for BMW branded vehicles (in premium automotive brand segment): indicating a very significant probability of losing #1 spot to MB brand. There's even a quite significant probability of losing #2 spot to Audi. In US market particularly #1 spot will be lost to either Lexus (greater probability), or MB (slightly lesser probability). #3 spot for BMW brand is projected in US for 2016.

So, it is (now even internally) expected for BMW to be dethroned in 2016 - on it's 100th anniversary / birthday. It is expected "the defeat" to be officially announced in May @ Annual General Meeting. At that time it will be also better known would it be #2 or #3 spot for BMW in 2016.

Reason: quickly aging mass-volume products i.e. 1er, 3er, 5er & X3. BMW also decided not to boost sales of those models with heavy discounts but rather focus on profit margin instead - especially due to persistently slowing-down Chinese market which usually generated extremely high profit margins.

The end of an era. Sadly. :(

Mr. Krueger & Co. will now have a task to focus on increasing profit margins (instead on bare sales increase), reinvigorating the "new era" brand image (more focus on IT, less on mechanics), further digitization of the vehicles, and the expansion / upgrade of EVs & PHEV. There will also be much less brand new models launched than in previous years. Coming till 2020: X2, X7, 1er Sedan, i5.

Also: till May a final decision will be made on next gen 1er 3-door, i8 Roadster version, and the brand-new 8er/9er.

It's now (internally) confirmed. BMW settled for #3 in the US market (behind MB & Lexus), and #2 in the worldwide market (behind MB). It will be officially announced in July - when 2Q / 1st half 2016 results will be presented. But's it's now clear that BMW is going to lose # 1 position in US market, and worldwide in total.

Shouldn´t cars like the G11 7er, G30 5er and G01 X3 help the brand retake the #1 position worldwide?

I don't think so. Not this year.
Revamped 5er, X3, X5, 3er and brand new 1er Sedan in China will start to show sales impact in 2017, and in 2018.

In 2016 the only car making significant sales impact will be X1 LWB in China.

Do you know how is the G11 performing in terms of sales?

Dieter Zetche predicted MB will claim the No.1 spot by 2020. Looks like they don't need to wait that long. What a remarkable come back by the three pointed star.
