Why does it need to be cheaper? A equivalent samsung to a iphone isnt cheaper.

My point is why is everyone flocking to a tesla.

In the combustion engine world there isnt this same phenomenon. One car can be better than the others, yet there can still be similar sales levels across the board.

And lets not dismiss the fact that tesla build quality, and fit and finish is poor.

A tesla model 3 is £44,000.

Exactly. Every car on that list is "worth" the price that it sells for. Tesla 3 is a good value for the money.

Cheaper cars available ? Of course.
Better build cars? Of course.
Longer range cars? Of course.

But is there any car that ticks all that? No. Not even M3. Every car suits a buyer.

But to say that Tesla is the Apple of cars , because...reasons...Is stupid.

Tesla may have tehnical issues , but is nowhere near overpriced ( if that is the analogy with Apple )

I think that's subjective. Personally I'd immedeatly remove the caveat of it being an EV, which renders the range argument irrelevant, and gives lots more options of better looking and/or better made cars.
