SLS for me, this car is so sexy, it's really my favourite dream car, it's perfect for me.
Looks utterly gorgeous, is not too hardcore, while still very engaging, sounds devilish, and God what a sex-appeal...
I love that car, it's my dream car with its mix of gorgeous design, sporty driving pleasure and everyday usability.

Second the Ferrari, a very very special car, sounds like God and goes like hell... Masterpiece, after the poor-looking F430.

Third is the Macca, however it could move forward. It's a runner-up, it could reveal itself as a masterpiece. Looks like nothing though, asd expected coming from Stephenson.

After that, well, it's less appealing. The GT2RS is bad-ass, but scary dangerous, and I don't like the way it sounds. The R8 does nothing to me. The Lambo leaves me quite cold.

Ferrari 458 Italia. The second best performance car in the world. 540 Nm out of just 4.5 litres of high-revving naturally aspirated engine-slash-work-of-art. The looks. The interior. The integration of the Engine, DCT and Suspension management into a cohesive whole. From what I read and see (I'll probably never experience it) it's this 458 that ticks the most boxes for me.

I care little for the out-dated Lambo. I love the idea of me driving an SLS and the R8 GT is sexy but lacks the class of the cheaper, more elegant, more classy, more versatile R8 Spyder. The McLaren MP4-12C is a technical tour-de-force and it'll be great to drive I'm sure but it lacks exciting looks and the aura of the Ferrari. It comes across as more the clinical, precision driving instrument than an object of lust and wonderment - which, I feel, is a key ingredient in the supercar recipe.

As for the GT2 RS. I can't believe this but I have hardly any love for this new car despite its enormous ability. I just hate the "fast 'n furious" looks. Don't ask me why - I can't explain how I think a GT3 RS looks the shizz in day-glo pink and yet the GT2 RS looks aftermarket. I see Gemballa in it. And I don't like that at all...

^Yeah, really weird that you like looks of GT3 RS which rather looks ricey with all those silly decals and colored wheels compared to GT2 RS...:t-hands: Anyway...

R8 GT for me. I can drive, but not that good to exploit all capabilities of GT2 RS which is close second. After those 2, the Macca... Rest - couldn't care less for. Lambo i dated and ugly, Ferrari is everything, but beautiful, i can imagine what is it to drive, but no thanks. SLS? Didn't like it from day one. Kudos to MB for making such great car, but i don't like it, leaves me cold, very cold.

:t-cheers:

If this poll was a beauty contest then the SLS for me;)

I voted: FERRARI 458 Italia, at this moment in time it's the 'surgeons precision tool'
The tech and prowess of this Italian is light years ahead of it's time and all seems to be just perfect! :t-cheers:

Till we know more about Mp4, Ferrari followed by R8 GT. GT2 RS, like Martin said, despite the impressive numbers, leaves me cold. Much rather have GT3 RS over it.

SLS for me... but I don't think cars are all comparable - some are GTs, other are track cars, some try to mix the best of the two (458, MacLaren). Might change for the MacLaren when it becomes more real and shows its potential.

I saw two SLS:es yesterday. I really dont like the design at all! I looks so weird and lame, especially from behind.
I like the SL and SLR much much more.

From these here, I choose the R8 GT. The car that impresses me the most. Loving the looks!

1. 911 GT2 RS: Just because it's brutal, and nearly everybody would fear to drive one :t-cheers: and it's a masterpiece.

2. R8 GT: Looks so good, but the R8 Spyder is perfection. More weight saving and a better R-tronic please.

3. LP570-4 SL: Good looking car, good sounding car, but the R8 is the better Gallardo.

4. SLS AMG: Best car from Mercedes since ever! They did a very good job with the design and the performance. Perfect modern remake of the gullwing!

5. 458 Italia: omg it's soo ugly (Front, Side & Interieur) compared to the beautiful F430

6. MP4-12C: looks like a car from a no-name racing video game without any license of the car-manufacturers.

Either GT2 RS or Italia for me.

MP4 I don't know much about yet, and SLS isn't hardcore enough for me.

R8 and Gallardo are lame VAG products, so I do not care for them :)

To each his own ;) GT3 RS is for boys and GT2 RS for men ;)

While i'll be silent about Gallardo since the 90% of the community knows my opinion about Lamborghini cars, i'll only tell you one thing about lame :jpshakehe R8...

We would be happy like little kids if BMW had a car to compete with R8, if they would make anything THAT good like R8 - being able to be a supercar in one of it's versions too.. ;)

Saying that R8 is lame and even that Gallardo which i don't like at all is arrogant, mind you. You can dislike their looks, but these are cars only to .

I can hate Ferrari's looks as you know, but i'll never say for any of their cars that they are lame... Ugly? Yes (most of them, only afaic, of course :D)... But lame? No, absolutely no!

Just my 0.02 € :D

:t-cheers:

458 Italia. I saw one at Monaco two days ago, it was beautiful!

Here's the beauty:

P.s.: AMS-test of the Italia will come in two weeks!
:t-cheers:

I voted Porsche, don't care much for the rest except the R8GT which comes a close second.:t-cheers:

If this poll was a beauty contest then the SLS for me.:t-cheers:

Agree with you 100% cos the SLS is the best looking car here.:usa7uh:

Back on track: 458 Italia. The second-best performance car in the world. Behind the incomparable 599 GTO of course. Ferrari's got their sexy back.

I still don't like the look of that GT2 RS and yet, believe me, every day I try and chivvy up some personal excitement for it, but it still does nothing for me. I prefer the stock GT2's looks honestly. This is sad for me because I really am a big blown-911 fan. Still, I can just picture the driving experience; it'll be the first time the skids in your underpants run both length-and-sideways.

R8 GT - fantastic rival for the 911 GT3 RS from within VAG's own camp! I could do it, but a V10 Spyder is better looking and comes with a manual. So the R8 GT is an R8-too-far to be a contender for me in this group.

Mclaren. There is no subtitute. Not even porsche ! It is the only car from here to feature a a carbon fiber chassis (hell, it is the only mass-production sports car to feature something like that !) That means it is the lightest and nimblest car from the bunch. It also means it is the safest and most structurally rigid car from here ! It has an amazing bi-turbo V8 engine that revs to 8400 rpm, and which develops 600 Nm of torque at just over 2000 rpm. The 458 Italia only has 540, and at a much higher rpm. This means it is the fastest car from here, and by a long shot ! We are talking about sub 3 second 0 to 60, and just over 9 seconds to 125 mph ! That is ferrari 599 GTO performance, at almost half the price. Even though it is the fastest, it has the best fuel economy in it's class, and a ride quality that is expected to be similar to that of a limousine when cruising (this remains to be seen of course). It has the most gorgeus interior I have ever seen on a supercar, a simple, but very classy designed leather dashboard and an aluminium center console, which incorporates a highly advanced multimedia system that even lets you record races from three (!) different angles by means of three separate cameras. In other words, it is the fastest, nimblest, most technologically advanced, user friendly super car from here. And it only got 1 vote, lol. (which is mine of course :D)

Ferrari- Dont really like the way it looks..it looks fragile
Mclaren- No fantasy in the design..look like a toy
Gallardo- Probably the best looking car here..but its old.
Porsche- Im afraid to die
R8GT- Hot HOT HOT... but i want a RWD sportscar

So ile have to pick SLS .. even though i really dont want to pick it..

If i can have my own way i would take a 430 Scud..:)
