So... What did they say about it? Is it any good???
Yes and no. The positive aspects are the new 8-speed auto, the weight-reduction, the space and comfort and the new 4WD with torque-vectoring.
They dislike th lack of new engines, the 2 liter turbo with 250hp seems to be pretty loud and doesn't feel like it has 250hp. It's a carry over from the old Insignia. The new 8-speed auto needs some finetuning, because it's a bit to sluggish. The centre tunnel is too oversized, which is annoying when you buy the car with a manuel transmission.
Thank you. I wasn't expecting them to be blown over by it. Just another average new Opel.
Seems to be much bigger than the current Insignia. is Opel going back to the Senator-years...?
As you can read, I was talking about the Senator. Senator A 1st series has been build from 1978-1986. Length 4.839 meter/width 1.722 meter. the 2nd series Senator B (1986-1992) 4.845 meter/1.763.To replace the Commodore the Insignia has to be bigger, otherwise it's a pretty major downsize.
I wonder how HSV in Australia with upgrade it?
