X2 2025 BMW X2 Spyshots

The BMW X2 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV produced by BMW since 2017. It is marketed as a sports activity coupé (SAC), it is considered a sportier and less practical alternative to the X1, as is the case with other even-numbered X models with its respective counterparts.

I would say that’s about right. Maybe the rear quarter light may be more like the X1.

Interesting rear light treatment. Because I seen that idea and actually reported on it.
The L shaped unit, with two individual L units inside. At first I thought it would be used for the XM. Surprising it’s here but X4 did launch with a longer L bar unit first.

They definitely went on a X3/4 X5/6 route.
Even numbers being the Coupe variants.
It will have the same front end with a tweaked grille shape (like they did on X5 and X6, X6 has a more triangular shape) and rear end having the typical BMW Coupe design. Definitely disappointing because like I said I really loved the X2 and how it was a different take on the “coupe” shape.

My my design is a mix of X4, current X2 and new XM. The rear roof slope is like the current X4, and the C pillar trim like the current X2. I used part of the XM bumper as well.
Plausible. It will resemble the squashed egg that is the first gen X4.

Looks like crap already. Current X2 has great proportions and new X1 looks spectacular.

Instead of combining two great designs, BMW plans to release this turd.

Side windows are wrong but other than that great render! :)

Reading comments about BMW designs recently…

That 1 was about the XM to be precise, but except the good looking i7 it could be about every unveill in the past few years🤢

How are they wrong? directly copying what is on the prototypes. Looking at your render, seems you missed the design. At this moment, there is no hard evidence that I can see of there being a larger small window behind the C pillar. I would think BMW would want to give some connection to the XM with the straight cut in the C/D pillar area.

Beyond what the mules say, I see those renders with many similarities to the new X1, which was not at all the case with the previous X1, two totally opposite vehicles, so I consider that the camo is very fresh and still hides a lot

Blah,Blah,Blah!!! I remember not only the Bangle era but also in 1988 and 1991 when the E34 and E37 were considered fatter over the Svelte E28 and E30.

It was controversial, but incredibly good design.

Now it’s uninsipringly bad. Point.

I would recommend to check some product/car design materials for current designer students, there is just the last 6er coupe to find. While in Bangle era BMW was dominanting all car design books. It’s the best referrence where are they now.

Could you point me to some of these materials? I'd love to go through some old car design books.

What I meant was your render’s side windows ended quite abruptly.
If we take the X4’s window line as an example we should expect something similar going on with the X2 as well.

It should be extended. I also don’t think they will implement XM inspired window line.
But yeah, we still don’t know many things about the design, especially with the rear end lol. That’s gonna be the real shocker I suppose.
Still a great render 🙏🏻

I think it will have the chrome line exactly like the XM, not directly under the window but 3, 4 cm in the sheet metal, including the hoff kink.
