Looks like Audi is finally ready to debut the first PPE model, the Q6 e-Tron, after over a year of delay. Visually, looks okay, but all too familiar. Taillights are very cool, but the rest is kinda generic and too similar to the Q4 e-Tron with better proportions. At least it's more attractive than the EQE though.

The PPC Q5 next year should be a significantly better looking car.

The Q6 e-tron also sets new standards in personalization: With a total of eight optional digital light signatures in the redesigned daytime running lights in the Matrix LED headlights and digital OLED rear lights 2.0, customers can design the look of their Q6 e-tron like never before. This is possible via the MMI and, for the first time, via the myAudi app. Customers are also able to buy digital light signatures after purchasing their car.

Well that's disappointing.

Cool that you can change the DRL signatures, but it's restricted to 8 presets and purchasing other presets... cmon, just let the customer customize it however they want!

EDIT: I guess, there is the issue of customers making inappropriate lighting signatures if given the freedom to make their own, hence the restriction to presets.

Finally, a new design language for the interiors!

Personally, I think the current A6/7/8/Q7/Q8 style of double screens is better, but unfortunately the market is demanding the BMW-style stretched curved screen. Better than a tablet I guess!

Who designed interior? It’s as if the CEO asked 50 people to draw a line each. What a complete and utter mess. Passanger looks like a last minute afterthought.

Meanwhile, Cadillac has a great looking bezel-free full width display on their Lyriq and CT5 and Escalade.

Audi started the EV wave strongly with the first Qtron which looked better than their other models (contrary to BMW/Mercedes where the EV cars for some reason had to look strange/shit). And look what they present now….
