Nothing like getting your useless reskinned Aventador recalled. All the owners daily driving theirs must be pissed.

I agree that it's bad when this happens absolutely. I can only imagine what the owner was thinking. Embarrassing.

But calling Lamborghini's "useless" and "reskinned" isn't particularly fair when other manufacturers do exactly the same with their existing engineering architectures, including the major hypercar manufacturers.

It's done for a reason.

Fair enough. It's just everywhere I see Lamborghini accused of it, for whatever reason far more than everyone else. The frequency of their models and numbers from memory aren't as great as others, that's all.

Personally, I can't stand the notion of Countach-badged Aventador and I'll be first in line with the cynicism but sako97's not like that. He's more pragmatic from a connoisseur's perspective.

I won't disagree on that point, least to a degree. I'm an 80's kid. Los Angeles Olympics, Michael Jackson and Lamborghini LOL! The original poster car for a whole generation, Lamborghini Countach and they took it forwards with the Lamborghini Diablo in 1990. That's a car I'd have.

I'm a little rose tinted towards them, and possibly biased but I don't care.

But this car I'm not too much interested in. Individually the Lamborghini Sian is superior.

Oh one thing though, I never liked the Lamborghini Murciélago apart from that GT racer.

Murcielago SV is one of the unicorns and possibly one of the best Italian supercars ever made.

It was better than the initial offerings. It was more the asethetics initially for me. I never liked the look of it. Much prefered a Lamborghini Diablo SE30.

Well this is more than cool, it is a respectful reinterpretation of an irreplaceable car, it captures the majesty of the original without falling into cliches, it is a cleaner Lambo and less "anti-radar" look, I missed it, I do not understand what the problem is with the "is a Sian under the skin", I honestly cannot understand that complaint.

I’m not going to challenge that however, under the skin an SVJ, Conuntach or Ultimae are drastically improved over the original Aventador had a regrettably poor gearbox and no rear wheel steering.
