Really turning out nice, but as others have already pointed out, the main emphasis should be in top rate ride/handling and interior quality, both of which appear to be present according to the initial prototype test drives...

Some initial driving impressions have already said positive things of the new A-class ride, handling and refinement been better than the current model, Mercedes chief engineer for A-class development has done an interview and mentioned how they changed the new car to make it more class competitive and realized the current model was not as good as the current class best rivals.

Class competitive is not good enough. It needs to be class best in at least a few respect. Refinement would be a good start for a Mercedes. The best or nothing right?

Completely agree and this applies also to the new BMW 1er. The problem is that the VW's MQB is so good and is also produced in more than 6 million units annually, that neither MB nor BMW could be really competitive

What’s interesting is how short the actual good looks in that photo of the front from above. A lot of plastic area making up the top of the front
